  • Wind Surfing

Wind surfing has become a very popular sport on the Great Lakes. Lake Superior can provide some of the largest waves. Surfers watch daily for upcoming storms. Noreasters produce the best surfing. Beginners should seek professional help before attempting to challenge these waters. A wet suit most always is a requirement and it would be advisable to wear a life jacket. Always be aware of the dangers with this sport. Huge rocks may lurk just below the surface and dangerous rip tides can catch swimmers off guard.
