  • Lion’s Club Fishing Contest

    Date: June 16, 2018 - June 17, 2018

    South Shore Lions 34th Annual Father’s Day Weekend Fishing Contest June 16th 6am-6pm June 17th 6am-3pm 2018 Port Wing Harbor, Wisconsin Limit Restrictions do not apply to most of the fishing area $300 1st place Trout and Salmon $100 2nd Place Trout and Salmon $100 1st Place “Other” Fish $30pp includes entry into exclusive participant raffle PRIZE PROVIDED IN COOPERATION WITH MARINE GENERAL Regular raffle, launch and refreshments Children 15 and under FREE All Persons on board must have ticket stub for that boat to register fish (except kids) Raffle 3 Cash prizes and much more after tournament 3 tickets for 5 dollars All Proceeds go to South Shore Lions Club.

  • Outdoor Concert Series

    The Cornucopia Business Association is introducing a new event for the summer! An Outdoor Concert Series will take place every Thursday evening from 6-9 pm from June 30th through August 30th on the grounds of the Cornucopia Sweet Shop. (The Community Center will be bad weather back-up). This is a family focused event so bring Grandma and the kids, some chairs and a picnic if you wish and get ready to enjoy some local music. All of the bands will be local or be locally connected. After a busy day come and relax and enjoy the summer evenings.   • The Almost fourth of July Fireworks

    The Almost fourth of July Fireworks in Cornucopia at dusk. Provided by the Cornucopia Club. Always the Saturday before the Fish Fry Enjoy an evening on Cornucopia’s beach, have a beach fire and see a great fireworks show. They begin at dark! Fun for everyone. Live music following in town.

Local arts and crafts vendors, food, drink and music. Maps provided. 10 am to 4pm. I attended workshops with Tony Van Hasselt AWS, Sterling Edwards AWS and Bridgit Austin, all nationally known watercolor artists, and with Diana Randolph a teacher in the WITC district.  Now retired from a real estate sales career I am still semi-retired from busy active community involvements that do not allow me as much time as I would like for painting.  I feel I am still very much in a learning stage, but hope to start spending more time with brush in hand over the next months.
