    CORNUCOPIA ART CRAWL A day dedicated to promote the Arts in Cornucopia. Featuring Artists from the South Shore of Lake Superior. Walk around our picturesque harbor town and enjoy a day of Art and fun. Maps provided. 10 am to 4pm. Announcing 2017 POSTER CONTEST for 13th Annual Cornucopia ART CRAWL The Cornucopia ART CRAWL The Cornucopia ART CRAWL is an event dedicated to the promotion and support of local artisans and their work.  Vendors ”set up shop” in Cornucopia’s shops, stores, and restaurants and in tents in the streets and near the beach0while patrons walk-about the village visiting the variety of featured artists.  The date of this year’s ART CRAWL is Saturday, September 10.  The Cornucopia ART CRAWL POSTER The Cornucopia ART CRAWL POSTER is a visual means to advertise the event that will to be distributed widely in the area, published in local print media, and be available for sale prior to and at the event.    Submission parameters: Image is to convey a strong sense of identification with the Cornucopia locality – its geography, its beauty, its people, its heritage, history and/or culture. Additional criteria include: strength of the image, positive representation of the area, and how well the image will work as a “for sale” poster. Image must be an original work and can be rendered in any visual medium: a drawing, painting, photograph, print, computer-generated image, fiber art, etc. Image cannot have won any other regional contest.   • Hunter’s Dinner

    Date: November 19, 2017

    Time: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm

    Turkey dinner with all the trimmings served at the Town of Bell Community Center. Served from 4pm to 8 pm. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and corn will be served, along with coffee or milk and homemade dessert. Dine in or Take Out available. All proceeds benefit the Cornucopia Volunteer Fire Dept.   • Wine tasting & Food Pairing Benefit

    Time: 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm

    Held every Mid-December from 6 to 10 pm ~ $25 per person Prizes/raffle/entertainment ~ Discounted wines/case price.  Awesome food! Appetizers by the Village Inn and Ehlers Store. Wines provided from L’eft bank distributor In just seven years, the Foundation has raised more than $160,000 to support South Shore School District:Grants to teachers. More than $100,000 has allowed teachers to implement new and innovative improvements Computers for students. In 2011-2012, 45 high school students received laptop computers to remain their own. This 1 to 1 initiative will be continued with all incoming freshmen. Smart Boards for classrooms. $25,000 allowed us to equip every classroom with this tool that increases student engagement and provides unlimited access to educational opportunities outside the classroom
