CORNUCOPIA WISCONSIN
Throughout the seasons, enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities.
Our hiking trails lead to two separate waterfalls and we have miles of beautiful, sandy beaches. Artesian water is
available from a free-flowing well at
the public beach. We also have a public tennis court, volleyball court and two playgrounds.
Experience the beautiful Chequamegon National Forest and surrounding trails by snowmobile, ATV,
hiking, cross-country skiing,
snowshoeing or dog-sledding. Don't
forget to bring your camera. Wildlife native to the area includes wolves, bear, great blue heron, bald and
golden eagles.
For the sportsmen and women, you might like to try Smelt fishing in April, or Bear hunting in September. Fishing is prime, whether you prefer trolling on
the 'Big Lake', walleye and bass
fishing on inland lakes, chasing the
spring run of rainbow trout, or
quietly canoeing through the slough.
Be sure to visit the spectacular sea caves. Beautiful sandstone formations that have been carved away by the incredible force of Lake
Superior. The caves can be accessed
by trail or across the ice during
winter or by kayak and canoe during the summer.
